Changes....

So it feels like forever since I wrote anything on here. I really didn't think I was going to be able to find anything to write about, but I gotta tell you I can talk!

Yesterday, Thursday, I got up early with plans to get tons done before work! Well things changed... I wasn't able to go for a walk like I wanted to, I was held up for longer than I wanted to somewhere... So when I got home I helped my mom with some raking and played with the dogs in teh yard for about an hour before going to get my pink hair extentions!! I don't think that they are really noticable since I have tons of hair to begin with so no biggie. After that I did some homework and then got ready for work.

Today was a tad rough, I got up at 8:30 after staying up til 3am because I am starting nights, I went grocery shopping with mom. After we got home and put away all the groceries there was just enough time for me to haul 3 huge windows upstairs before having to lay down again before work. Fun times :)

I do have to say that I am very proud of myself, I have NOT stopped once this week on my way to work or after to get anything to eat or drink. I haven't eaten fast food or anything not home cooked since I started!

I am also setting a goal/rule for myself. I am not going to buy any clothes until I can buy them in smaller sizes! There is no point to buying clothes if I have no intention of being able to fit into them in the future :))))

I believe some big lifestyle changes are coming up and I am looking forward to seeing how this all pans out :)

Walk 1

I went on a 1.25 mile walk this morning with my mom and dogs. They were beasts as normal, the walk was beautiful!!!!! Most of the colors are gone however it was still nice to get out of the house and do some walking. We went down by the Hydrolic (sp) Falls and walked along the road until it started to go up a hill to steep and back. No animal sightings but surprisingly there were a lot of cars! Maybe somewhere else in the morning, having to stop and make the dogs sit nice when a car comes by doesn't really help to get the heart rate up!

Today I don't think I ate too unhealthy, however I'm sure room for improvement.

Breakfast - Scrambled Eggs with scredded cheese, toast and skim milk (gotta loose the cheese and white bread)

Lunch - A romain salad with seasoned chicken breast, shredded cheese, homemade croutons and italian dressing with water. (Again cheese, I'm seeing a pattern :))

Dinner - Diet Coke (Only one for the DAY!!!) and seasoned beef, baked potato with sour cream.

Also drank 2 Nalgene's, thinking I should go for 3 tomorrow :)

Tomorrow I plan to take the dogs for a walk in the AM with mom, than at 10:30 I am getting Pink hair extentions put in!!! All the proceeds from the extentions go towards Breast Cancer Awareness, since I hate pink we will see how long they last! :) Will post pics tomorrow.

Beachbody!!!!

Today I signed up to be a Beachbody Coach. I guess I should have done a tad more research between the difference between a Beachbody Member and Coach. As a Coach I do not get as many of the Beachbody website funtions that I was hoping to use, mainly the meal planner. Starting out with this new chapter in my life I knew that I was going to need a overhawl of my eating habits, because well they suck! I need someone to tell me what to eat, because I know what not to eat, I guess I have never been taught what is exactly good?!? Oh well, maybe if I don't like being a Coach I will switch over to just a member, however being a Coach I get 25% off on merchandise!!! That is an amazing bonus. I am currently trying to finagle a way to get the Shakology program into my buget and meal plan. I beleive that this will help me as well. I just have to figure out how to pay for it! :) I am really looking forward to this new chapter in my life.

Summer Vacation

This summer I had the great fortune of taking a 3,300+ mile road trip across the country with one of my best friends. We left Northern Upper Peninsula of Michigan heading south toward Memphis, TN. That first day was a long day, we spent the first night south of Memphis, TN. The second day of our trip we went into Memphis, walking around downtown. Memphis is a beautiful city, loved the architecture. I wish we had, had more time to spend there. The following are two of the many beautiful buildings that we encountered.

After our walk through downtown Memphis we headed south again toward New Orleans, the following is a picture of me on at the Louisiana State Welcome Center and the bridge that goest across Lake Pontchartrain.
After arriving in New Orleans we laid low the first night after spending another 6 hours in a car. The second day that we stayed in New Orleans we took City and Swamp Tours. Here are a few pictures from both.

I will continue the trip on my next blog...

New Passion

After years of being settling and being unhappy with my every expanding waistline, I decided make a change in my life! I have been thinking, researching and hearing from friends for months now about Beachbody. I have thought about which program to choose to join, I believe that Beachbody is the right right program for me. I need a program with flexibility yet structure. I like Beachbody because there is a system if coaches and people there to push and help you at every step of the way. I believe that this is very important for me because sometimes, I need a kick in the butt! I also like how there are many different work out programs, getting bored will not be a problem. Also they offer personalized meal plans, that I believe is also a very important key of the program.

I am very excited to start this new chapter of my life!

1st :)

I've never really been a blogger or fan of blogging so I'm just going to give this a shot :)

I just want to put some of my pictures out there and let people see the world how I see it. I do not consider myself a photographer my any means. I just like to take pictures for a hobby. I've taken a few classes on photography but would never consider it as a profession. I believe that I would lose the love of capturing images, feelings and events and it would just be something that I would have to do. I would never want to have to do something that I once loved. So when I get free time I try and snap a few shots here and there. I mostly shoot nature, I don't really like to shot people because they move and I don't like telling people how to act or pose. If I do have to shot people I would rather shot natural or un-posed. I think the shot of people who do not know they are getting their picture taken sometimes turns out more natural, comfortable and less stuffy.

I really don't know what else to write so I will just leave it at that. Here are a few photos that I recently took.
